Is This You?

Who Is This For?

Who This Is For:

  • You own a Texas farm or ranch that does $1M or more a year in sales.
  • You'd rather be on your tractor or working your cattle than buried in the paperwork.
  • Your CPA files your return but doesn't specialize in agricultural tax.
  • Your lawyer set up your entities, but nobody has checked whether they're the best setup for your taxes.
  • You run on an operating loan and want renewals that come through faster and at better rates.
  • You don't really know whether the year made money until December or later.
  • You want to know the cash and tax impact before you buy land or big equipment.

This Is Not For:

  • Farms and ranches doing under $1M a year in sales.
  • Businesses outside farming and ranching.
  • Anyone who only wants a return filed once a year and nothing else.
  • Owners who want to buy equipment or tax credits just for the write-off.
  • Operators who aren't willing to share their books, past returns and loan renewals.

100% Done-For-You

Here's Everything We Do For You

Here's how Catherine and her team run the books, the bank and the taxes for your operation all year.

We Get Up To Speed First

We gather your bank accounts and documents, then review your past tax returns, loan renewals and budgets, so we know exactly where your operation stands before we change anything.

Statements The Bank Wants

We build your balance sheet and income statement and make sure every tractor, pivot and outbuilding is captured on them. You always have access to your QuickBooks file.

Monthly Meetings All Year

We meet every month to compare your budget to actuals, update your cash budgets and watch cost per acre, so you know where you stand long before December.

In-Depth Tax Planning

We work the tax side while the year is still open: how your entities are set up, which equipment goes into service when, how livestock is treated, and when revenue lands.

Scenarios Before Big Buys

Before you buy land or big equipment, we run the scenarios so you see the cash and tax impact first, and you're ready when that piece of land comes up for sale.

Smoother Renewals, Direct Access

We keep your financial reports up to date so the renewal flows quickly, and you can reach Catherine any time without worrying about the meter running.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to replace my CPA?+
Not necessarily. Our Fractional CFO work keeps the books, the bank and the taxes under one roof, which is the simplest setup. If you'd rather keep a CPA you trust, Catherine already works alongside clients' own CPAs so they know exactly what to put in place.
My lawyer already set up our entities. Aren't we fine?+
Your lawyer made sure the entities were formed right and protect you. Whether that setup is the cheapest way to run your income, equipment, land and family members through the tax code is a different question, and operations change after the papers are signed. Entity structure is where Dale Allen says they saved more than $100K.
Should I just buy equipment or tax credits before December 31?+
Only if you needed the equipment anyway. Buying a tractor you don't need swaps cash for a smaller tax number, and you're still out more than you saved. Tax credits bought from someone else usually count as passive, so they may not offset the active income your operation earns. Bring any purchase to the call first.
Will lowering my taxes hurt me with the bank at renewal?+
Your tax return isn't the only picture a lender should look at. What the bank wants is a clean balance sheet, an income statement and a budget it can hold against your actual numbers. We build those, with every piece of equipment captured, which can help you qualify for lower interest rates and get approved faster.
What if you don't save me at least $100K?+
Then you don't pay, and we hand your fee back. On the call Catherine looks at your latest tax return and your last loan renewal and tells you straight whether $100K is realistic for your operation. If she doesn't think she can get you solid results, she'll say so and won't take you on.
What does it cost?+
Our Fractional CFO work is priced by the acre, and most farmers invest $6 to $8 an acre. You'll hear the exact fee for your operation on the call, before any work begins.
Is it too late to do anything for this year?+
No, but the calendar matters. A new tractor or sprayer only counts on your 2026 return if it's placed in service by December 31, and the timing of this year's crop sales has to be settled before the year closes. The savings show up when your return is filed.
One Last Step

Want To Know What Your Farm Or Ranch Can Still Save Before December 31?

On the strategy call, Catherine sketches your operation from your latest tax return and your last loan renewal. Then she tells you straight whether $100K in tax savings this year is realistic for you.
